How about sawing a Ferrel open to the center, slip it over and crimp it on and/or epoxy?? Is the OEM cable frayed or kinked? If it's just gummed up you may be clean it out with a slow speed drill, a vise, and lubricant.

IMO, try it with that '69-'70 bracket in your 1st picture first. There isn't one exclusively for a six pack. My stock '69 bb 4bbl worked but had to be pulled further back in the bracket. The plates still opened fully.

Hmmm, as is, does this pivot move and cause the outboards to open when you open the center carb or does it stay where its at? Its what you need.................

FWIW, Make absolutely sure the floats are good and the needle and seats shut down flow for both bowls. You don't need one failing and polluting your crankcase with gas.

Check that push rod like Professor say's. If that's the pump you're asking about, you'll certainly have hard fuel line routing issues. Just buy the correct replacement.

Once the bowl level drains below the seat housing and an air break is formed, can the fuel continue to drain the bowl empty?

Umm, maybe the carb is leaking fuel? Black and eye watering smoke/fumes out the tailpipe? Is your oil level going up and it smells like gas?

I've used Stabil in all the fuel run through my 2008 Glastron Holley 2300. I purchased this boat new. It sits dormant for about 6 months over winter. With full tank of fuel with Stabil. The float bowl when I first pulled it down in 2015......... The same float bowl in 2021...

Maybe sandwich the corner between two 1/8" flats and bend with an adjustable wrench kind'a sort'a..... A corner of my '69 tank was bent from factory...........

FWIW, if that adjustment requires bending the rod, I think I'd measure over the tips with a caliper before (JIC).

Are they all made the same? IMO, I can't imagine a particular weight as a gauge to go by. I'm thinking buoyancy needs to overcome a pressure in a given range for the application. The know the outboards on my six pack tend to weaken over time. Is there a flooding issue? Is it adjusted properly...

FWIW, Some of these may not be real friendly to an Abody with a 2 speed wiper motor. AC can even be an issue. Below is a "shaker " base plate on my 440 six pack. It only needed a small bend to fit under the motor and the rubber seal cutout.... My '72 air grabber 4bbl base plate might need to...

Ditto the previous question. Are you sure your Holley center hung float bowl is emptying in just a couple days without it leaking and leaving some evidence? I think I'd run it a while, park it, pull the air cleaner off, pull the sight plug, and verify the bowl is full. The next time I go to...
