    I am running a 408, 6-71, I have 28cc inverted pistons, I am also using a thicker cosmetic head gasket to help with lowering compression. I have never had a problem using 93 octane fuel and 10psi boost, But if I had it to do again and I new I was going forced induction I wouldn't stroke.

    He needs 77* for the unit to produce the 90 gpd rating, The feed water temp. has a direct bearing on the output quantity on reverse osmosis units.

    After 40 years in the oilfield, and 36 with the same company, 21 of those years as a mechanic today I get cut loose. Gonna be a big change for me, sorry to say but just another victim of the economy. Been in Mexico the past 7 years and not gonna miss that part at all.

    Don't know of anyone using the Lincoln rears, that being said the ford explorer rear is in the 59.5 in width, and people are cutting down the long side and installing a short side axle making it equal length. That is putting it some where in the 56.5/57" in range if my memory serves me right.

    If you want to run very much boost go ahead and drop your compression ratio. Unless of course you're gonna run race gas or inner cooler or something along that line.

    Don't know how much more room you need but the dual contour fans is thinner than the chrysler dual electric fan. I am using the contour fans on the champion 26" radiator, had to modify my upper core support slightly, this allowed me to move my radiator far enough forward that I have about 1/4"...

    Pulled my engine to paint the engine compartment, one thing led to another, while engine was out I installed new pistons and rods. Long drawn out affair, but worth the trouble.
