Bay Area Mopar Alley Show Saturday June 22nd 2024 DeAnza College

I don't see any information on what time they let the swap meet folks set up. Also, how much for each space? If someone is not on the Mopar Alley Facebook group, it's difficult to find this information. Thanks

Is a deeper pan worth it?

Yes get the deep pan. The A&A cast aluminum one comes with a re-usable pan gasket, pan rail bolts, billet aluminum filter extension, and Dacron filter. It’s $200 currently for their pan kit. Yes it’s worth it. The thick cast aluminum also helps stiffen the case. Only thing I do with the drain...

    Nicks Garage 383 build

Nick is really dealing with alot of variables and is in constraints by a budget. Realistically I agree whole hartedly with many of our commentors about adding Cubes as Dwayne, JROB, Rusty and others have chimed in on. On the cheap cut down a 440 crank 440 rods and 1.32CH pistons and be done. On...

    clutch fork tension spring

My bellhousing has a notch in it the spring fits into just like the photo @Dave69 posted. Look at where the bell meets the block and you'll see it. Put the long hooked end in that slot, the other one in the notch on the fork. Also, FWIW my TTI Z-bar had a weld on the engine side arm for the...

Possible SBP to LBP adapter group buy?

Many people probably use adapters. Personally, I don't like the idea so I'm not a fan. Good luck though.

NOT MINE Junkyard A-bodies in Southern California

I won't have time for a couple weeks to check these out so I don't expect much to be left when I get there but I am just hoping to cut some good floor boards out so I should be good. I just want to give the heads up in case anyone needs parts off these because they both look to have a lot of...

How old are you and how long have you raced

I’ll be 44 next month. Spectator my whole life watching my dad race bikes as a kid. My first pass in a real car was his 70 nova and low 11’s in my late 20’s. My barracuda made a few passes but always had an inconvenient luck just suddenly occur and get me flagged. Here as of late i’m putting...

Possible SBP to LBP adapter group buy?

My only thought would be screw in studs for the 1/2-20. Easy to find in different lengths.Depends on if the shop would want to instead of knurls. I have a 72 Dart base Slant that is in the body shop for at least a year. Plan to do the disc swap up front. Was going to start to look for the big...

Tell me about your ballast resistor failure.

I've finally found motivation to check it. Ohms were a bit high at 5.9 to 1.9-2.2, the replacement is 5.5 to 1.8. The old one was at 17.7 once instead of 5 but this might have been a faulty measurement. The difference from old to new is low but I've changed it anyway cuz the old one was a...
