Uh not entirely accurate. They still have some smog restrictions but it’s a far cry from civilians

493 hard to start when warm

Yep, 36- 38 degs is too much timing for 10.5 comp and a heat soaked engine. I've had a problem at 24 degs on the 451 with 10.4 comp. I ended up backing the timing and getting the temp down to 160.

Oh I know. Only reason I say it is so that when you talk to the rebuilder that did the thing, it’s already ruled out. Experience says that seems to be the very first question I’ve been asked in the past

493 hard to start when warm

I am just saying a locked distributor would not always cause this problem. I bought the car a couple years ago and it was built for a toy at the strip and I am doing other things to it and have not got to that portion of the car yet but runs just fine on the street.

    MSD Power Grid Controller

Make your life simple, get an MSD distributor and plug it right in to the grid. You’ll need to lock out all of the mechanical advance as everything will be controlled by the box via a laptop.

Stop in for a cup of coffee

At the car show this morning. We were still a little early. Probably only about 200 cars there now but more coming all the time. Very few Mopars. Maybe 6 or 8. Somehow the camera failed on my phone so it didn't record any pics. Here's the only ones I have, from my wife's phone. Was there for...

Just read article about military trucks not having to comply with epa smog rules. No smog equipment. Reason? They need to be reliable. Get that.....so my truck does not? Bull sheet..

Retractable Lap Seat Belts - with Shoulder Belt

I have those in my 72 Dart and only use the lap belt portion of the assembly. I find the shoulder portion is extremely difficult to adjust and has no give like a modern belt once attached.

You need the gaskets or seals too, actually, I think that I only needed the new seals. O'REILLY auto had both of them.

No. Could not get trans to shift. In car. So after messing with it at length I opted the cheetah valve body. But that was when the HD spring issue arose. Trans in car by then Called Stan. No way to change that spring with trans in car.

There are way too many possible variables for you to say your distributor is locked and his distributor is locked, therefore they should act the same.
