I don’t have any recent pictures of the engine bay but since the picture was taken new fabricated valve covers have been put on and the whole cooling system has been replaced. Aluminum pumps, aluminum radiator and electric fan.
Has a mild cam with a 770 Holley carb. Reverse manual valve body. Cold case 22 inch radiator with electric fan. New rear tires. New 16:1 Manuel steering box. 2.5 inch exhaust with cutouts.
I have a 69 Belvedere with a 383, automatic, and 8 /34 rear. Runs and drives great and everything works. I’m looking for a street/strip a body. Located in south Florida.
No there isn’t any voltage at the ballast resistor when the key is off. The wiring for the ballast resistor and ECU is correct. The part the isn’t right is the electronic voltage regulator and the alternator
I have a 68 barracuda with a 1972 440 in it. It has an electronic distributor with the 5 pin Mopar box. It also has an electronic voltage regulator. The car will start fine but I have to pull the electronic voltage regulator plug to turn it off.
I took out the valve body and put it back in and it will shift now. How would the parking rod get jammed and how do you prevent it from getting stuck again?
I was able to get the car running with the mechanical voltage regulator. As long as I hook one side to the alternator and the other to the ballest resistor it should charge right?
I put a 440 in an originally 318 68 barracuda. The 440 has an electronic distributor meaning I had to get a Mopar orange box ecu. I've followed the wiring diagram for the ecu but I'm still not getting spark. The ballast resistor and coil are getting power.
The radiator is up against the cradle and it is 3 inches in width. Could I run a flat 17inch mechanical fan with an electric fan on the other side of the radiator?
I have a cold case 18x22 radiator. With the 440 in the car, it leaves 2.5 inches between the face of the radiator and the water pump pulley. What fan would fit? would prefer to go electric.
I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 68 barracuda with 10inch drum brakes. Are there any kits that are recommended. I've found a bushing kit from energy suspension and a complete kit from PST.
I have a no branded pair of 440 stainless steel shorty headers on my 440 that about to go into my 68 barracuda. Will they fit with power steering. If not what headers are recommended for this situation.
