Anybody have any user experience with any of the desktop dynos and want to make a recommendation? I have enough possible combinations with the various parts I have to warrant buying a program, but I want the most user friendly and fairly accurate (for a computer estimate) horsepower/torque readings.

I know several of you have the desktop dyno programs so I want to ask a question. Which would be faster, a 450hp 2800 lb car or a 550 hp 3600 lb car? Everyone knows that a lighter car has an advantage but big HP engines have the advantage on top end, such as the HEMI.

I did a couple of google searches and found different sites that have free downloads of desktop dyno. Some are different versions 2000, 2003 etc. are any of these any good?

There was an upgrade for DesktopDyno to bring it up to version 3.10. It's gone from their web site, as they're not supporting the 3.x series anymore. I've got 3.08 (had to re-install it) and now I can't read the files I created with 3.10. Does anybody have the patch to bring it up to 3.10?
