In what condition is the manifold with butter fly? The exhaust manifold on my 71 dart swinger has a exhaust leak at butter fly and spring is broken. Also would you know how much shipping would be Kyle, Tx 78640? Also would it fit a 71 318?

Would you happen to know if they the same as the manifolds on 71 dart swinger with the 318? One of the manifolds on my dart has the butter fly with spring that is bad and is causing a exhaust leak. If so how much do you think shipping would cost to zip code 78640 in Tx?

After looking at the pictures 73AbodEE put up it looks like the 8 3/4" rear end. I went to oreilly's and they told there was 2 different gaskets so I went home and looked and the back does not come apart. You have 2 drop the front of rear end with pinion gear and all.

Will post pick when I get home. Stuck at the in laws.

I took car in for an alignment and it made a big difference. Car drove alot better.

The one I bought is a remanufactured cardone gear box. When driving and I hit a bump, car goes all over the place. There is no play. It just turns to easy.

I installed a new power steering gear box on my dart cause the old one was leaking like crazy. The old felt perfect. The new one I installed feels real loose. Is there any way to tighten the new gear box so it won't feel so loose. I am open for suggestions.:-k

I need a speedo cable for my 71 dodge dart. Either new or used. I ordered one from summit but, it ended up not fitting. Summit service rep told me they did have speedo cables for 71 dodge dart.

Thanks for the help. I had trouble getting old gear box out but, then I put the new one and with out wanting to take it out, it fell out. I did loosen the steering wheel and let it rest on seat. That helped out alot. After that it was gravy.

I've started to take gear box out but, it won't clear the steering wheel shaft. I have it completely loose. Do I have take steering wheel assy loose so gear box can clear steering shaft? Any help is appreciated:-k.

I installed the new sending unit and fill tube grommet. The fuel guage works good. The old sending unit had a hole on the float causing not to float. Also filter screen was torn.Thanks every for yalls advise.

My car has seat belt part# 9015 on the driver side. I forgot to check what was on the passenger side. I will check tomorrow.

I bought a new sending unit and a fill pipe grommet. I will install them when they arrive and let y'all know if it fixed the problem. When I grounded the sense wire, fill guage would shoot up to full right away.

It is leaking from the fill tube grommet. I will look on eBay for it. Thanks I will recheck it with my meter(ohm).

I filled up the gas tank and guage did not move. Instead I had a gas leak coming from pipe that goes into gas tank. Any other suggestions on what I can test?

I grounded the sense wire and it shot up to full. I did the ohm test on the sending unit and got 62.7 ohms which may be right. I only put $10 of fuel when I take it for cruise cause I don't want the gas to run out. I also tightened all 4 nuts behind the cluster. I even ran an extra ground wire...
