The car is a 1963 There wasn't the insulation up originally. It had a type of thin brown stuff. Not sure how to explain it, it wasn't part of the headliner but it was on the roof.

I would double check your timing. Also, I heard that once the car breaks 200 degrees, to shut it off and let it cool down. You don't want all that heat during break in time. The 20 minutes doesn't have to be continuous, so even though you stopped after 7 you're still fine.

Ok. The stripe on the rear was a decal correct? And do 68 GTS' have trim along the wheel wells and beneath the doors? And is the rear grille any different?

Am I correct in thinking that on any 68 Dart (GTS) that the vinyl top does not go down the front pillar? It should stop before it goes down next to the windsheild, correct? And is the stripe across the trunk supposed to match the interior color or the vinyl top color?

I am not messing with you guys. I was looking at a car to buy. The engine is a 340, I verified that with your guys help. I am just not sure what kind of crank it is. Don't cast cranks and steel cranks have different looking balancers on them?
