Stop in for a cup of coffee

While I was resting on the bridge this morning, I saw this guy headed out to fish. He fishes with nets. Look at all the nets in the boat. That's a lot of work for one man.

    360LA Clutch Fan

If you have a "bit of a cam" in that 360, I highly recommend to NOT run a flexfan, on account of, I have not had any good experiences with those. Every time I use one of those, I have cooling issues. Your results may vary. If you decide to run one; NEVER rev the engine up while your body is in...

Yeah, that Rambler name should have been dropped, AMX too sweet to be called a Rambler.

Now that PayPal sends 1099s, I'd rather accept a check or money order!

Paypal is anti (insert News and Politics) I've cut more checks the last 12 months than I have in the last 12 years. I don't mind cutting a check if the seller prefers a check.

    Coil Question

Did you connect the car's Ign1 and Ign2 wires together before you connected them to the feed for the ProComp dist.? If you're using the voltage setting, you won't get a reading measuring across the + and - terminals.

    Paint question

I have seen yours at mopars in the park. We go every year. I absolutely love your demon. That's my true dream car except a 4 speed and I would have to have the str-12 cross ram manifold but it's also perfect exactly how it is!

Help Confirm My Steering Box Setup

As long as you have the manual 73 pitman, which was always small sector, you should be OK. In 73 the power steering went to large sector and the manual steering stayed small sector. Link: A body Steering Boxes

    What gets a car moving?

I used to drive an old Dodge Van at work back in the olden days. It was a slant with granny low (standard trans) and a city only rear gear. When no load was on it 1st was skipped. It was also non synchronised trans. Had to be full stop.

Something a little different at Keystone last weekend.

That was his first time at the track. From what I hear with the high shift point dialing in a converter is the trick because of lack of torque. I’m sure they will get it dialed in. I had a friend that I met years ago at Keystone that switched his dirt car late model over to drag racing after he...

    Paint question

Pain't the front clip semi gloss black. Reminiscent of the factory hemi cars. Redo your interior and clear the whole car. My car is a true Mr Norms 1971 GSS Demon. 340 6pack. But I love the Day 2 and how I remember when my Dad owned it from the 70's and 80's, so it will stay as is despite...

    Radiator overflow tank

I run these in several cars. The barb is on the bottom so it's truly a recovery tank, and not just an overflow. Engine gets hot, it pushes a few inches of fluid out, when it cools off, it draws it back in. Cheap too. Dorman 603-001 Dorman Coolant Reservoirs | Summit Racing

That is awesome. I often wondered why old nascars don't show up more at tracks. I see rollers for 3k sometimes. What was his best time? It should have more in it than I saw on the video, no?

Really? All of them I've ever seen needed the drive shortened on the order of "around" 1.5". I guess it's possible I'm remembering something different.

Found my dads original 1971 duster!

Thank you for the message. Ya, I agree 100% with you. Crazy to me that an engine builder would install it on the wrong way, to fit a temporary shipping crate, so that it would later have to be switched around….possibly requiring a new gasket….and I’m assuming dumping a bunch of oil out of it, in...
