Had a similar problem on my Barracuda - Sometimes it would crank and not start - other times no crank or click etc. Found it was a broken Fusable link and a Bad pick up coil. the Link worked intermittently as the wires were moved trying to figure out the no start problem. Good luck.

The ECU is wired per the diagram and is bolted to the metal inner fender - not the fire wall. Is there something else I should do to ground it? I thought it was a good set up.

What degree thermostat are you using in your Slant 6? I am changing my water pump and thermostat and it seems that 195 was original to the car. I was going to go with a 180. Besides the 15 deg -- what is the benefit or pitfall of running a 180 vs the 195?

What is the going rate for a BASIC engine rebuild of a 225 Slant 6? I am getting estimates and want to make sure I am in the ballpark. Need to have the engine removed rebuilt and installed when completed.
