I already have a light weight starter so that is good that it will still work. The transmission I have from the Dakota is from a 1999, so is there any way to change it over to a regular speedo cable or will I need to use a aftermarket gauge for the speedo?

The 500 horsepower figure was average over a certain rpm window. I don't remember off hand what that rpm range was. I think they recorded horsepower at 690.6, still lower then I expected but its way better then building that engine and making 500. Dan
