My first thought is Wrist pins(Connects the piston to the rod)... If they are not oiled/lubed properly on assembly they can seize up... they will only get oil from the crank slinging it up to them when engine is running and will not get oil when priming the engine

I gave more then the junk yard would have but less then what the 340 is worth! That is an oil gauge on the dash.

Oh and I did confirm its a 340 But a 72 (not a 68 as i was told...Imagin that) With X heads!

Hey thanks for the replies! Long story short I traded a couple old snowmobiles for the dart, witch came in pieces... Hoping I can get her back on the road soon! the Front seats are white too but they look like they came out of a 78 Fury or something... I will be listing the door panels/arm rest...
