Thanks Frankie, I just want a low maintenance battery since I drive the car once/twice a month. My last battery stretched from charging and was only a year old (retro cost $250). Guess I'll try a cheaper battery and see how it holds up. Regards Ed.

I'm sure its not the charger since I charge all my cars with the same charger and this is a first. Going to contact the battery company and see what they say. My only concern is the battery could have popped and more than likely would have cost $$$$ to repair the aftermath.
