    64 Dart GT seat adjustment

    I seem to recall that there was an adjustment beyond the standard slider that you could make to get the seat back a bit further. Any info on this?

    power steering conversion for 64 dart

    I have read that the steering shaft needs to be changed to add power steering, as the manual shaft is too long. Is there any reason, you could not just cut the shaft to the correct length and and sleeve weld it back together?

    Help! 64 GT rearwindow weatherstrip

    I contacted Just Mopar and they sold me a weatherstrip for the rear window of a 63 GT, since I figured they were exactly the same as a 64. Got it, but it is too small. Any idea where I can get one? Is it possible that there was a change year to year on rear window size?

    Carb linkage for 64 Dart

    I have a 64 GT and PO swapped in a replacement engine. The carb. linkage looks like some parts are missing... Can anyone post a pic of the proper stock linkage so I can see what it is supposed to look like? Dart has a typewriter.

    rear window trim clips

    The rear window in my 64 Dart GT had rust issues (surprise!), and the PO had just glued it all together. I have fixed it properly, but now I need some trim cllips. Anybody got tips as to where I might find some?

    Oil pump

    Finishing up a build of a 225. Noticed that the rear of the oil pump under the filter appears to be open - does this just need a plug, or is something else supposed be in there (pressure relief?)?

    Rocker shaft oiling

    This may be a stupid question, but I can't figure out how the rocker shaft gets its oil. Obviously it does, since I just disassembled the shaft w/rockers (btw, found about half of the oil feeds for the oiling to the rockers plugged...) and it obviously is intended to pressure lube the rockers...

    I have the torque specs; just wondered if it was best to torque with lubed threads or dry?

    pistons don't come to the top?

    Just bought a rebuilt 225 for my Dart. Pulled the head to have it shaved, then brought it to top dead center just to get a look at the machine work. To my surprise, the #1 and #6 don't even come up to the deck. They appear to be about .172 below the deck. Is this normal? If so, sure...

    I just found a rebuilt 225 to drop in my 64 GT, but I want to put it on an engine stand and check it out a bit. What size are the bolts for the bellhousing, so I'll have my engine stand ready to accept it?

    Going to pick up a slant Monday for my 64 Dart GT. Supposedly completely rebuilt for $800. Seems like a good deal. The head has not yet been installed, so I can get it shaved a bit, and also get a good look down the holes to verify that part of the rebuild. I will, of course, pull the pan...

    rocker shaft change?

    I just bought a rebuilt (I think) 68 or so 225. I want to pull the head and take a bit off for more compression. Then I was reading on the forum that this requires a different rocker arm set up? True? If so, why and what will I need?
