I have a block and bore is reading 4.040 is this bore to 40 over pistons ?? Thanks for all the help

Question what is measurement on a 30 over 360 piston ? Is it 4.030 ? Or is the 4.030 the bore size for the piston ???

I have 2 cranks from 360 4027169 with cfd cast into it and a 3418640 . Are both crank the same or is one better ? I'm planing on building a 78 year block and want the better one of the two

They are all pressed pined , I read a guy had same issues as I have . Could they done this from factory ? To my beleive the motor have never been apart

I picked up a 85 360 tore it down and notice 6 rods had 2899496 pressed pin and 2rods cylinder 3and5 had 3418645 pressed pins also is this right or have someone been in this block ? Crank number 20277169 , block number 4179930-360-2 , could some one help me , the 6 rods showing they are 340...

I picked up a 360 block and crank dispose to be 30 over bore is the piston hole should it be 4.030 when measureing it ? Also is the walls bad it have lines running in it , I can't feel them hand not groves in walls
