do you drive the car on the street. if you do, does it still run hot while going down the road. if it cools down while going down the road at speed i would say it has something to do with air flow. i am sure if the car was running real lean it could cause some heat issues but, i am just...

do you have a shroud on the rad. and do you know what cfm the fan pulls. maybe the fan is not pulling enough air across the rad. have you looked to see how well the water is moving in the rad. with the pump on.

this my not help you but, i took all my screws and stuf and layed them out and sorted threw them and went from there. i just finnished putting the interior back in the dart. it came apart like 4 years ago. going back together is always more fun. david
