what was the color they used for powder coat?

I have I my seen one, maybe two for sale in the past 10 years. Do anymore ever come up for sale or is there just not that many left? Just curious. They are a bucket list car for me.

sorry to say that the original 273 from my car was beat too hard to bring back. So in it's place is a thinly disguised 360- original replacement motor from '74 (just put together now), 1968 340 intake, Edelbrock 650 thunder series, Hughes Whiplash 340/360 cam, billet valve train, TTi headers...

I run a Whiplash in my 360-was a complete reman (1976 motor) with a nice adjustable valvetrain, '68 340 intake, mild work on the heads, 650 Edelbrock Thunder Series and TTi headers. I run a stock stall (from a 273) and it runs great. My 65 at sunset - YouTube

that motor looks like the one in the article-from the Feb 1966 Hot Rod-on the step by step 273 build up for racing your car could definitely use one of my decals!

sorry for the crazy distorted pic...used the first test run decal and stuck it on a side glass to take the picture. It is actually the closer to the same size and dimensions as the hemi ones(that went inside the glovebox door).

the dash lights needs the powerpack (located behind the glove box) changed or rebuilt. I think they run about $100 for a rebuilt one. I'm running Flowmaster Super 40's in 3 inch. They have a nice deep sound.

yeah it's matching numbers. orginally a 383 2 barrel, I switched it to an Edelbrock 4 barrel with a factory cast iron intake.
