    NOS distributor seals ?

    pulled out the old dizzy from my 1965 225 slant , to put in NOS Chrysler electronic dizzy. For the record , I never did this before. So I have a few questions. Do I put The big washer / seal from the old one on the nos ? And should the NOS dizzy have a seal on the shaft? NOS old

    How can you check the spindel's

    I am thinking about going front discs on my 65 valiant , front drums are worn out , probable out of round ,Don't think they can be cut anymore, looking at kits for sale , but don't know if the spindle's are worn also. Any advise would be great.

    Pulled the valve cover today anyone ever see this stuff?

    Everything on the engine looks clean , but the gunk on the valve cover can't be good . Doesn't smell like gas , has the look of baby food , a little watery. like steam was mixing with the oil spray on the valve cover? oil on the dip stick looks good , any thoughts?

    Is it OK to take power off the terminal on the ballast resister to fun an electric fuel pump? I tried reading up on what the resister is for, and it sounds like the voltage changes? To me I think it is not a good idea. 65 slant 225 valiant
