Signs you're getting old for Classic Car Owners

I had my left knee replaced 2 years ago and it's still really stiff even with physio twice a week and stretching more at home with exercise. And the weather has a lot to do with how it feels. Additionally, it still feels foreign to me. However, it's still better than the bone on bone I...

[WANTED] 70-72 Dart Rear Valence in Western Canada

I'm not sure if I have a good one. It would be about a month before I could check, all of my parts cars are about 180 miles away. A picture of yours might help to compare. If I have a decent workable one, I'll be reasonable on the price. Thanks George. (gdrill)

Signs you're getting old for Classic Car Owners

You know that you're getting old working on cars when you have to get under the car to do a task and you bring a bunch of extra tools ''just in case'' so you don't have to get up and back under there because the size was 1/2'' instead of 7/16''. You bring pliers, penetrating oil, a small butane...

    Mopar Action subscription

Well, that bites the big one. They came back better than ever last time only to shut down and screw people again out of their subscription money. That's why I didn't subscribe. I was a bit gun shy after last time, and I was right... BTW, I loved the mag and bought it every time a new issue came...

    Borgeson Power Steering Thoughts....

Thanks for the response, but my headers are Doug's not TTIs. It's great that they went over backwards to make it work for your application. I have the crank pulley, the previous owner converted to manual from power steering in the past, and I have all of the brackets etc. associated to convert...

    Borgeson Power Steering Thoughts....

To add to this post, I as well love the manual steering box feel when I'm on the road going highway speeds. Now that I've had some major problems with my shoulders in the last 10 years, I am looking to upgrade my steering to power steering. I do have all of the parts needed to convert to factory...

A real testament to stock bottom end capabilities

I read a long time ago that Bob Glidden never used an engine stand for just this reason. He would assemble engines on the bench and do his measurements on the bench, without the stresses and flex to an engine that the engine stand would incur. He was a world champion for several years with Ford...

‘71 340 Duster Front Drum to Disk with Factory 14” Rallye Wheels - Problems

I would grind the caliper to fit, it won't reduce the strength of the caliper by much if any. The suggestion to use spacers would work too, even though it's not ideal. I would tend to grind the caliper to fit, because the wheel is hub centric, and spacing them out is not the best idea...
