A bit of water in my oil

My valve covers take all of 4 minutes to pop off I'll look under them tomorrow and make sure my PCV is still capable of sucking. I can't tell what's going on in my oil cap it's the old tin slide on slide off with a 90 degree hose port on the side. Really it's more of a fancy hole in a valve cover.

A bit of water in my oil

Actually that's a good point I didn't even think of, it stays cold it's in the front eating a lot of cool wet air with a hot motor behind it and hot oil under it.

A bit of water in my oil

I'm all oil on the bottom my guess from the dipstick is I have a very thin film floating on top. My PCV should be working as it's an open vented oil cap straight to the breather. The other side does have a valve I believe running to a vacuum port so it could be froze shut. We have had rain twice...

A bit of water in my oil

Alright guys so I got a 67 barracuda with the 273 and my question is how normal or how often do you guys see condensation in these motors in the winter. I make about a 20 minute drive to and from work in it generally two or three times a week. I allow it a proper warm up in the morning but in...

    Vacuum ac switch

Alright so my vacuum ac switch burned out, it already had a vacuum leak but the blower motor finally got it after 51 years. It's a part number 2587564 and the only one I see for sale is 400 dollars, this thing might be rare but I feel like I could almost buy a parts car and save some money at...

    Blower motor power

So i have a 67 barracuda and my blower quit, I ran a hotline from the firewall disconnect to the blower so it's not a blower problem it still runs as good as a 51 year old fan should run. I checked power with the key on and there is no power coming to it. I took the back off the switch and it's...

    273 help

Trust me guys I am not cutting into this intake to put a giant carb on it, last thing I need is for it to fall on it's face every time I punch it to get out in an intersection I've been there, a 500 was good enough for the factory it's good enough for me. Honestly nothing is wrong with the two...

2536771 66-67 273 w/California emmisions already laid it on correct bolt angles fits like a glove, I have had it for years and never actually bothered because someone had wrote 65-66 on it and I knew if that was right it wouldn't fit but I finally ran the numbers and landed on what I needed.

    273 help

Alright guys I have had a 67 273 barracuda for quite some time and I finally managed to snatch the holy Grail of the 273, an original cast 4 barrel intake. My question is what 4 barrel and size was the super commando running in 67 so I get the best original fit when I swap from 2 barrel? I know...
