Can anyone tell me the correct fitment of the door windlace. Is it supposed to go up underneath the trim as shown here, or is it supposed to stop just short of it? I'm reinstalling the window interior trim piece and it just doesn't seem to fit right with the windlace jammed up underneath it. Thanks.

I seem to remember the studs on my '68 were long enough to thread 2 more nuts on the stud and lock them together by tightening one against the other, then hold with one wrench and tighten/loosen the grill nuts.
