No, it's not in a bind. It rides and steers great! A lot better then torsion bar and a regular gear box.

I'm building a 408 out of a 360 truck motor. I would like to stay with a stock center sump oil pan. Will I have any clearance issues with the oil pan? I am not going to run a windage tray. Thanks!
