If you swap out your iron bell housing for an aluminum one, DO NOT REUSE the bolts that held to 833 to the iron bell housing they are about an inch too short and will pull out eventually. Ace Hardware has some nice grade 8 2.25 inch bolts that should work fine, if you cant find original ones.

Did anyone ever build an engine with the rings embedded in the cylinder instead of the piston? It would have to be a pretty short stroke but I could see some advantages to doing this like the block never wearing out. pistons would need to be heavier and probably sleeved. Just thinking...
