we have a citron yellow 71 demon sizzler with original tail panel paint. still black and never painted over although the car was painted lime green, the original black panel remains. the car was a racecar much of its life with the rear quarters rolled for wider tires.

black tail stripe for sure and this is the weird thing about the dart. it says on the title that its a 72 everything else on the car is 72 model year along with the vin number but for some reason the sidemarker lights on the rear quarters are 71. tell me why

thanks for the advice.. we already have a 72 dart with a tail stripe painted on correctly so he got the demensions off of it and is going to use that as a template. Go mango was a thought when we were picking colors but it got cut right at the end

thanks for the comments, it was between vitamin c and plumb crazy. Vitamin C won out obviously but we decided the next mopar we get will be painted plumb crazy. I will post pics when we get the car back to the house after the tail stripe gets painted on.

Well fellas the paint is now curing on the 72 dart swinger just painted vitamin C orange. I think it is going to come out good. Welp i decided to take two of the five boys out and wash them... then the rains came as i was finishing up with the dart.. gotta love florida weather.. the dart just got a fresh 318 put in... i love my mopars.. ALL OF THEM!! let me know what you fellas think.. 72 dart swinger (318) 73 plymouth...

yea i like mopar red also but we decided to go with chrysler blue because it is different looking.. i think the blue will jump out of the engine bay especially with the dart painted white. The heat shields on the manifolds are also going to be disappearing also.
