    The plastic shear pins on my car are busted (by the previous owner who is an idiot) so there is some extra "play" in the steering wheel...so I would avoid columns like that. I am taking my engine out shortly, so I will probably try to make my own with some plastic casting resin...to tighten...

    I just took some old brake line and bent it around into a big old circle...because my factory air cleaner wouldn't clear my Holley carb...cost me nothing and gained me that needed 1/4" or so. Paul

    Hi Mark, I just did the the KH disk brake conversion on my car. Seems like in a pinch you could fabricate your own bracket. The missing one should be a mirror image of the one you have. Then down the road, replace it, if you come across the proper bracket. Paul
