What’s the diff between Flat top (with two valve reliefs) and Dish (with a D-shaped cup) I'm looking at the kits and want to know when does the forged crank really come in handy? How many people have had the scat cast cranks break on them?

These kits consist of a Chrysler 400 blocks crank right? Why can’t I pull one off of a junk yard and build my own kit around that? I thought these cranks could take a beating.

In your experience or knowledge how much is the machine cost with stock rods vs the cost of I beams ?

What year is your 360 and how much were the lifters?

I assume it is not possible to put the roller lifters in a 75 360 or can I?

well Pick n Pull prices a small block @ Engine Short BlockCar$129.99 CORE $19.99and on holiday weekends there 50% putting me at $65 and im only $50 into this 75 360 so I want to make the right decision on which block to go with. im sure I can hold on to this 75 block or sell it in the future...

Thanks rumblefish360, really great info :). The guy said he would take $50 for it already. So my bigggest worry is if the block turns over and damaged spring. I'm looking to call him later on today and maybe bring it home, I want to make sure I'm not forgetting any thing. Wish me luck you guys...
