Also sounds like with the coolant puking you might want to install overflow bottle. Check cap gasket also. Ditto the flush and fill w/antifreeze! Good Luck!

OK, now that I have food in me, may be I should retorque & readjust. Put it back together, drive it to parts store, engine flush, oil change 20/50, filter. Then take it up the hill like I stole it, come back and take a look again?

Took it out again. Taped off all holes except last 3 oil ports and blew air through and was comming out the 3 holes. Put back together. Fired it up got all but 3 of them to lube. Lossened shaft, blew air and a couple of drips of ATF down holes. Engine cooling while I'm eating Dinner/breakfast...

I know I'm not that bright or I would have a job right now but, can't you get new cork gaskets (No RTV) to fit by just raising engine with mounts loose, and dropping pan? I thought that's what I was going to be doing with my 67. Please advise!

Some of the new hoses you buy now have the reinforcement inside the rubber and do not have the wire spring in them anymore.
