    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

There's got to be plenty of shops in the Denver area that would be a lot more reasonable. Seems like it should be around $4K at most. That's what I paid for a PPG pearl paint job in CA that included everything your guy quoted.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

Wow! This car is going to be awesome! The more I watch this thread, the more I want to paint mine the same color.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

I only have subframe connectors in my Duster, and that made a big difference. With just those, the front end come up perfectly even on a good launch. I made them out of 2" X 4" (I think, might have been X 3") rectangular tubing.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

I don't think the carbon fiber look fits the car. Stick with the satin black.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

I think I'm going to go with that color on my Duster whenever I get the time and money. It's looking really good so far.

    A 1974 Duster - My 2nd one, 41 years later!

What are those clips called that are holding the QP on? I'll need some of those when I replace mine.

    The '74 Ruster

That's pretty much what I did to mine, but I also took them apart and cut the rod off on the inside. Then I drilled and tapped some holes and put bolts in once I got it pushed in to where I wanted it. It's still a little wider than the earlier bumpers, so it still looks funny. I also cut most of...

    The '74 Ruster

The 72 bumpers don't have those huge, heavy shock impact absorbers that are shown in the last pic you posted on post #24. There's also the huge steel reinforcement that sits inside the bumper that you may not have seen yet; the 72 does not have that, either. Together, all of that is probably...

    1965 Dodge Dart 270 wagon

Glad everything made it there ok. I was just wondering the other day if the wheels ever made it. They look good on it. I scored those in about '98 or '99 on ebay when there were still good deals. They were still in the boxes and had the wax coating they put on them when they packaged them...

    NEED HELP Engine SOCAL

If you're willing to drive over to Indio, take it to Brian at IMM Engines. His prices are reasonable, and he won't try to push you to get anything you don't need. He's done quite a few small blocks in the 5-600 HP range, including mine.

    Rocker's 1973 Duster "Clara"

Well if that doesn't motivate you, I don't know what will. Cruisin' Grand is right around the corner. I'll only be able to make it the first couple months.

    I remember thay day{engine pic}

I remember pulling my 318 and trans, putting them back in, pulling my 318, putting in the stroker, pulling the stroker, putting in the 318, and finally pulling the 318 and putting the stroker back in. All of it was 2010. No pics, just some with the stroker in...both times.

    1973 Plymouth Duster..

It won't be in the 50" range. More like the 46-48" range with a 727. Best way is to measure, but I'm sure someone has the same combo and can say for sure.

Where did that hood come from? looks like a Chevy cowl induction scoop grafted on.

    74 Duster "My Way"

That paint job is nice! Like the colors and the pearl in it. I'm thinking of a similar paint scheme, but with burnt orange in place of the blue and reversing the black and silver.

    65 barracuda

You have some amazing metal working skills. Most people in the U.S. wouldn't even attempt to put the effort into a car with that much rust, especially an A body. Great job!
