    63/67 valiant ( not mine )

a person who invests 30K on a car doesn't just shove the clutch pedal to the floor and leave it there as a decoration, they would also clean and paint the trunk body color, and the wiring wouldn't have wire joiners on it $7000 would have been more real of a price

repairing front frame rails 65 cuda

don't want to be the first one, but this is canada; things rust and it cost a small fortune to ship a rust free car from the south ($6000+) so yes frame repair is cheaper, but the OP is going about it wrong, if its that rusted you can't just patch it up, replace them, makes for a better job...

How do we value our cars?

but what most people see is the end bill, they don't realize that not just the door would be repainted, that a pint of paint is about $120 and a quart of clear is about the same and also that they probably blended the fender, painted the door and blended the back door, and cleared everything...

I hate to say this, the insurance company couldn't care less about peoples emotions and feelings I really hope you do come out on top; but without an apprasal there going to low ball you, and if you can't really find an example of why it should be a 15,000 dollar car they'll give you that low...

    Collapsible steering column options ?

actually there is such thing as better brakes. ever have a car that didn't slow down as fast as others (without skidding tires) once you get into the tires skidding there is no sense in your foot being on the brake, but if you can get a car to stop really quick without it locking you indeed...

    Collapsible steering column options ?

I know he didn't ask for opions but I have to agree with this 100% if your not used to old cars there hard to drive, steering is loose compared to a rack and don't have all those life saving crumple zones so the vehicle takes the hit not the person don't believe me watch this 2009 Chevy...

    63-66 A body gas tanks

the only brand I would put on a car is the spectra premium brand tank; there made in canada and heavy gauge; if your going to replace it do it with a good part so you won't have to again

    Exhaust Nightmare!

your 360 mounts must be differently angled then the 273 ones or 340 then because I put a 1992 dakota manifold on with just a little shimming there is something different with yours because I have personally seen 2 others locally that have done the same
  22. 66plyValiant

    Exhaust Nightmare!

you have something wrong if you can't get your hand between the manifold and innerfender the one in my avatar has more room then that it also has the drivers mount shimmed 1/4" and a 92 dakota manifold on it

    1966 Disc Brake Conversion Questions

well by the time you buy spindles from a parts car; and try and round up all the parts needed to do the conversion, you'll end up with mostly new anyway so why not go with scarebird? you can have a complete new over the counter brake setup for under $500 and well under that if you price around
