I wish it was closer craigslist finds

Going by the trunk lid and dutchman panel,it looks like it sustained some serious hail damage or was attacked with a ball peen hammer.

I wish it was closer craigslist finds

Sure looks like it.Won't be factory installed but it wouldn't be too difficult of a swap.

its all FABO's fault. you bastards... new toy...

Great score...it's cool to find old Mopars that haven't been FUBARed by backyard hackers along the way.

why do people help make old cars look bad

Here in Canada, the preferred choice for hood or trunk supports is an old hockey stick with the blade cut off.Had more than one car over the years with that "option".

    Should I or Shouldn't I?

Cool,I always thought that would be an fun swap and a stupid fast ride with the right engine.Hope it's still there and it's worth buying.

You know what that means? you have to do it now...:poke:

    Should I or Shouldn't I?

If it came with an automatic,it might be a Mopar 904 trans with a Mitsubishi bellhousing which would make it real easy to swap in a SBM/904 combo.

Do you own two or more of the same Mopar?

    I have 3 70/71 Dart Swingers,two of them are 340 cars,other's a 318 and all are hi-impact colors.Obviously I really like that body style. Other Mopars are an FJ5 70 Road Runner,63 Fury,67 Dart convertible,and a 70 Sport Fury so I like some variety as well.

If it's the same one he bought of me a couple years ago, then it was powder coated by Leanna...maybe that's why he thinks it's worth that.:D

    Mopar Action Is Back

Just picked up the new issue in the magazine section of a nearby drugstore.Really happy to see them back in business and E-berg's tech is always top notch and worth the price by itself.

    FABO Transportation Network Available

I'm looking into making a three way deal on here which would involve moving one A-body from central TX to SE South Dakota then a different A-body from there to North Dakota or Montana. Both cars are rollers with no motor/trans so fairly light and could be moved by dolly or trailer.Timeline would...

The ORIGINAL "family truckster" LOL--and cheap, too

The 59 Chryslers came with the 413 wedge instead of the 58's 392 Hemi's so they were around.I didn't know you could get one in a Dodge that year but it likely would have been an option,at least in the US. I saw this 59 for sale here in B.C. last summer:

The ORIGINAL "family truckster" LOL--and cheap, too

Mopar decided those names are second rate so GM scooped them up... Like the wagon, would be a pretty cool cruiser.

    Chicago Blackhawks on the move

They're gonna be hard to stop in the west, for sure. Dallas has the firepower to compete but their defense is bad and goaltending is worse.I still can't believe they traded for Kris Russel instead of Hamhuis...that's barely an upgrade on what they had. The California teams are all playing well...

    Mechanical aptitude!

My first foray into "hot rodding" was around 1974 when I would be 5 y/o and it involved putting several hand fulls of dirt down the gas filler of the family Volvo thinking it would make it run faster.Needless to say,it never ran again. I still remember my dad phoning the gas station and yelling...

    And........... Again!!!!!!!!!! Help

I personally prefer the the 73/74 Valiant/Duster nose to the earlier ones although the earlier tail panel is cleaner looking so it's tradeoff either way. I think it would hurt the value more than help it when you go to sell it and the nose and tail were switched to the earlier style. 340...
