broke a front leaf spring on my Willys wagon while out wheeling (way up in the hills) pulled it back together with my winch cable, clamped it together with some flat bars I had (1/2" thick, 1x5 or so with a hole in each end)... got out of the hills a couple hours later, then 2 more hours home...

I have not seen anything like that on here either... although I usually don't pay attention to the ads.... kind of block them out!

I got one woman that I am not invisible to, and that is all that matters! 29 years this may!

when I was in high school, a friend's dad would change an engine in his Pinto by stacking a couple pieces of firewood in front of it, then put a long 4x4 (probably and 8' fence post) across the firewood and use it as a lever to lift the engine out and then roll the car back and set the engine...

I was with my son in law at Pacific Raceways a couple summers ago for the nostalgic races. He had his 65 Barracuda there... an older lady came up and was admiring it and told him through the window, "I concieved my first child in the back of one of those!"... LOL, kind of ruined my son in law's...
