Definately seems like the converter was not filled with fluid, should be fine after the fluid level gets to where it's supposed to be!

if you already have a 727 keep it. If your looking to buy a tranny you may have to go with a 904 as the 727's are getting scarce and expensive!

Can anyone tell me if a shifter console linkage from a Dodge Aspen will work on a 70 Dodge Dart? What about the bucket seats and rails will they line up or will some fabrication be required? Any info and help would greatly be appreciated on this, thanks in advance!

That console and shifter should work providing you get the brackets or fabricate a set to attatch the console with. This is a pic of the correct shifter.

So the tube just twisted in the centersection? Wow the reverse fixed it where a pipe wrench and piece of pipe wouldn't. It must have been stuck pretty good. Weld the hell out of it now!
