How long have you owned your A-Body??

That's a great question and I find the answer surprises me when realizing how long its been LOL. Rescued in 1997 > 2015 = 18 Years! The vast majority of that time was spent chasing/collecting parts, paint & body, etc. Tearing up the road 3 years now.

Have you actually ever BROKEN a torsion bar?

Did the same but in a 65 Dodge Dart. When it happens the suspension on the side that breaks drops like a rock to the stops.

    Drive train offset poll

I'm running a 440 in 71 A-Body with an AR Engineering CNC Machined motor plate. The plate by design offset's the engine to the passenger side exactly 1.375 inches. Also running TTI Headers which fit very nicely with the proper offset of the motor incorporated...

So mewnhile back to the question. Not quite sure why you went on that bizzare rant and quoted the traction bar question at the bottom. It had nothing to do with those picking you apart about defining a "survivor". But anyway, now that it's out of your system and you are hopefully feeling...

    70 340 dart "survivor"

How bout the traction bars? Are those custom made...didn't think they made any for Mopar leaf sprung of that style (replaces spring pad/shock mount). Usually only saw those on GM cars with the "Traction Action" logo.

It's such a sad time of the year - "winter storage"

Good to see those big honking roof trusses on your storage building. Suspect in Ontario you get a fair amount of snow ;o) Good ol kerosene heater keeps the garage here in Kansas warm enough to get some work done. We just got our first blast of winter today as I'm writing this...ugh!
