I hooked up the blue wire to the new sending unit. And stock gauge didnt work. I went no farther then that. I could be wrong but seems to me one wire and one gauge. Not much to go wrong

The temp gauge isnt hooked up. Only thing was amp meter and Speedo which all it does is bounce all over

Stock gauge dont work. I have a stock style sending unit. Is there an aftermarket gauge i can put in with little hassle? Recommendations?

If you are already replacing them 3/8. Except I bet the sending unit is still 5/16

Yup Rob (RustyRatRod) rebuilds them. Im sure he knows someone or has a blaster. Probably give you a good price. He could probably use the money too.

Loaded question with not much to go on. Try listing as must as you know about the engine, intended use, gearing, converter.

From the regulator Im running a line from each port to the carb. Ive seen the inline piece in order to use one id have to splice the line and dont want to do that. I would like one solid line from the reg to the carb

Im looking for a spot to plumb in a fuel pressure gauge. Using Braided line and holley regulator dual carb setup. Wondering if this fitting could be drilled and tapped to fit?

Yup that be where id like to run it. and yes i have grommets. All lines and wires are getting a grommet. I shouldnt need much more then a 3/4" hole. Thanks for the tips fellas.

I could do that but it puts me on the opposite side of where i want to be. My plan is to run this out and up the outside of the inner fender then though a grommet out the top of the inner fender. With the way the headers snake around trying to get it as far from tubes as possible.

I remember that thread now that I see it. Id like to do mine on the opposite side of the torsion bar and thats exactly the idea i had in mind.

Im using braided SS fuel line. Im good till i get to the trans x memeber. Should I go under it our though it? After that I think im good too. Common sense is telling me to go though but wont that weaken the x memeber?

I understand i may not get the full effect of the velocity stack but.. IM looking for a good way to properly filter with out having to run a filter on top.

Yes i put the top back on. I could come up with something that sits on top of the mounting bolt to separate the bottom and top. going on a tunnel ram 440. I cant see this being any more restrictive then some of the small pan style filters ive seen.

So been playing around with ideas for some time. I want to use the velocity stack but I do not want any filters on top. The only filter for just the velocity stack is a small round element that to me wouldnt do much filtering. So I bought a pair of these small filters..... Anyone see any issues...

Just guessing your running a manual VB I dont see a kick down. Does that bracket you bought have provisions for a Kickdown?

Maybe poor machinging on the intake? Could be the photo but that last hole looks tappered.

ok ive never taken one apart. The old tank was junk so I tossed everything beings i was going to 3/8 sending unit. Im guessing the sending unit goes in then the seal and the lock ring around it?

Ok ive looked at the FSM in the General section and didnt see this and did a search but couldnt find anything conclusive. I have a new tank, new sending unit and new lock ring and seal. What steps do I need to take to install the sending unit. Also i dont have a lock ring tool what do yall use...

I think i got this figured out.... Out of the sending unit Ill run a short peice to the canister filter, then link that to the fuel pump. From the fuel pump up to the holley filter then to the regulator then run both lines out of the regulator into my Y block. Then 1 line running from the Y...

So what do yall think should I flip the Y block upside down and run the 2 lines into the regulator then 1 line out to both carbs?

Ok question i do have a fuel regulator. It has 1 inlet and 2 outlets. Can I run 1 out let to my Y splitter to the carbs then the other back to the tank for a return line? this is the regulator I have http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3131-1/
