SHO actually stands for Super High Output. They weren't supercharged, they had a solid valvetain yamaha v6. The automatic sho that he's looking at came from the factory with a 3.2 which made 200 hp and 220 tq. Ford had one v6 that was superchared, it came in the 89-95 thunderbird supercoupes...

If it has 245 hp would it be an SHO Taurus? It's easy to tell by the bigger 16 inch wheels factory "body kit" and leather seats with the front having big bolsters. If it is a SHO Taurus they can be troublesome; they can have transmission problems (automatic) and the motors are a pia to work on

I drive an 07 ls cobalt. I have to say i like it a lot, the only major thing i've had to have worked on is the clutch(my own fault for beating it) and the lower control arm bushings. Its nice when i take a trip and get 40mpg. And modded it does fairly well compared to other cars in the compact...

Definetly glad to here things are looking better for you. I've personally dealt with my grandfather and a good friend of mine who took their lives. It was difficult and confusing times for all who were effected. Keep your chin up!!

I didn't think it was too awful, the thing i liked about it was how they brought the original cast back into it. Also i didn't like having to listen to all the ricers rev the holy hell out of their cars after the movie let out. I really wished by axle was done in my duster so i could've shown...

It is fun to watch amateurs do it but i have to agree with goldduster318, the professional stuff sucks. I think it takes a lot of concentration to keep your car in control while it looks like its out of control

Good point, but i have no problem with a tuner with a full exhaust, not just a fart can on the stock exhaust. And the John Force is absolutely true, every time i go to cruise in my duster it seems like all the young little punks want to rev their cars at me and start to drive like a** holes.

I don't have a problem with any "rice" cars as long as they are built right. I've ridden in plenty of fast turbo imports, but what gets me is the base model civic with a coffee can for a muffler thinking that it is fast. I've also raced a WRX in my duster, he didn't stand a chance.
