FE5. F8 looks really good on certain cars - a '69 RR w/ Chrome Road Wheels for instance - but to me that's a shade better suited to Coronet Station Wagons (weren't they all either that color or white...???!!!)...JMHO - and we've all got one...:toothy10:

There was a nasty looking FE5 Rallye Red '70 Duster 340 prowling around Carlisle this past weekend. I had forgotten how good that color can look on those body lines. That gets my vote, although I really like them all except for butterscotch/bahama yellow. That color just never appealed to me...

You see the 5 x 4.5" versions from time to time, but aren't the 5 X 4" versions as rare as hens teeth...? I like them personally - mainly because of their rarity I guess. Same reason I like those old Hurst wheels... You guys are right about the B5 variation and all of the reasons for it...

Aloha: I don't think you've seen an answer on this because no one wants to be a smart-a$$. The simple answer is: The Pentastar mounts in the factory holes! Maybe the previous owner or your body shop mudded over the mounting holes; been done a million times. See if you can't find some...

Has anyone ever successfully masked off and repainted a '70 - '71 Dart grill? And by this I mean just like the factory did with every vertical fin being silver and the backside of these same fins being black, etc. I'm not talking about just painting the perimeter silver and the center black...

If it's better than the one that you have currently then why not buy it, stash it in the rafters, and use the existing one for your hood scoop experiment...??? Seems you would want to cut up the less desirable of the two, but that's just my take on it...

I had the bumpers reworked by Tri-City on the wife's Swinger. NOTHING SHORT OF FABULOUS. At some point in its life it had gotten a trailer hitch bolted onto the back. I thought that I had clearly conveyed to them to weld up the holes, but something went awry and when I got them back the holes...
