Yeah, I guess, about 200 rpm at 60. At least that's what I came up with when calculating mine.

Why? I don't think you're gonna notice much difference at all. Now, if you went from 3.23's to 3.91's you would probably notice.

It really depends on what you want out of the car. Rear tire height also plays a factor. I went from 2.76's to 3.55's on a 26" tall tire and it's a night and day difference.

I haven't had a 4 speed in years, but when I did, I liked it to engage about a 3rd of the way up, and have a little free play at the top.

Use dry graphite powder to lubricate it. Oil or any kind of greasy substance will attract dirt and grime.
