    8.75 sure grip - question

As others have said, it sounds like the conversion U joint is in order, no tearing down of the center section.

    Throttle linkage?

It would probably kill your trans if you did, if it's an auto trans with a stock valve body. Post up a pic, it could be your throttle pressure linkage (kickdown).

Oil coming out at intake. Please help!

I wouldn't drive it then, until you get that pressure linkage squared away.

Oil coming out at intake. Please help!

Where's your throttle pressure linkage as mentioned above? (AKA kickdown) Or is this a manual trans? If it's an auto with no modifications you'll want to get that fixed ASAP. You risk burning it up.

Oil coming out at intake. Please help!

It could be, although that seems excessive to a degree. Did you use any kind of sealant on the intake bolts when you put it together? If not, that "could" be where it's coming from, oil can wick up the threads and pool on the intake like what you are seeing. Do you have a working PCV in place?

    Thermostat Gasket Q

I do as well. I also use some non hardening sealant on the bolt threads.

    Craigslist 440. Whats it worth?

Agree, that's about what I see them listed for around here, and that's just the engine. I went to look at a 440 a few years back, it was sitting outside. I asked how long it had been sitting there, the guy said 10 years and uncovered at that. He wanted 1000.00 for it. I bet he could hear me...

    Yes

Good deal on a 440 and trans???

I'd have to agree, put a price on the individual parts like the carbs, K frame etc. At the current exchange rate that would be what, 740 US dollars.

    cam bearing help

I found the one from B bodies that was in my thread when I was asking about the tool. How To Install Camshaft Bearings. My thread: Cam Bearing Install Tool. This ^^ thread also has a pic of the cam with the grooves cut in it.

Hey Lance, come to think of it you did chime in on the thread I'm thinking about. It seems to me there was a pic posted, did you post it?

    cam bearing help

It seems to me that some folks have cut grooves on the old cam at an angle (think cutter) and slide it in and turn it. There was a thread a while back with pics.

    Big Block Dart Cooling

210* IMO, isn't 'hot', but it doesn't leave any room for error. You didn't mention what stat you have in it. Maybe adding some water wetter will help.

    Missing power 440?

I suspect you have figured out part of the issue, but in the OP you don't mention rear gear. That also can have an affect on low end if you're running numerically low gears that would be meant for highway cruising..

How fast are big block Duster's.

That video is too funny, all you see is Duster, and hear a ricer with a fart can. :D

    Lifter and cam question

Yes, install new lifters and follow proper break in procedure. Just keep in mind 'anything' can happen, wiped lobe etc. Not trying to jinx you, just throwing it out there. It can happen with brand new components.

    Cam lobe going flat...what now?

What about the open spring pressure at max lift? Was that checked? I don't know if it would be an issue, just throwing it out there.

    Cam lobe going flat...what now?

I would drain the oil and look at it. Pull the oil filter and cut it open and inspect carefully. Then choose a course of action.
