Are you going to be racing? If not you dont need subframe connectors or a pinion snubber neccessarily...but they dont hurt either and if you've already got them, then may as well use them. As far as shocks go, I had SS springs on my 67 and put a set of KYB's on all 4 corners and they worked...

....and subsequent chassis flex due to engine torque to help plant the tires and evenly distribute the load for traction!

I'm running 002/003's on my Dart. Also running KYB's all around with no extensions. No complaints, rides stiffer but not bad, and it plants the tires way better than my worn out original springs...

What size tire are you running? I'm using a 5/16" spacer with my 5" offset rims on a 255/60/15. I have about 1/4" clearance to my SS spring clamp now that was barely rubbing before the spacer. I would go much larger on the spacer as it eats up threads pretty quickly. I was suprised...

I did the same on my '67, put 002/003's on and cranked my OG 6cyl bars a little to give it the right rake and I love the look myself. They ride fine on the street (IMHO). Hook up MUCH better than my old 6 cyl leafs did too even with my old crap shocks, no snubber and less than meaty 235/60/14...

I went from wornout 6cy leafs to 002/003's and I love 'em. Now I'm not hardcore racing or anything but the ride is better and they hook up better than my old 6cyl leafs...but then again anything would have been an improvement. If your not into the S/S you could always go with XHD...

Also, if I'm not mistaken there's some difference in leaf placement. The XHD are heavy duty versions of the original but dimensions are the same. I think S/S springs have leafs placed at slightly different locations to improve off the line launch but someone with better knowledge may want to...
