I would like to remove the K frame from the duster so I can get it ready for the tiss'. Can you guys give me any pointers for a smooth removal? Can I keep the motor/trannie attached & drop it out the bottom like the factory did? Also if you guys have any exploded views of the area in question...

I have the SS springs in the duster. They are old, as the previous owner got them from old school Direct Connection. I for get the #'s but I looked them up & they are the stiffest ones you can get for an A body. They dont seem to have sagged much if any. You can see how the car is crooked in...

Man, If your gonna scrap that ride because of a bad frame rail, sell it to me for scrap price!! That car is in too good of shape to scrap just because it has a rotted frame rail. Post some pics of the bad rail so we can see how bad it is. It can be fixed, oh yes, it can be fixed!!

I have them on my 4x4 ram, but never tryed them on a car. They netted me about 1.5" of lift in the rear of my truck & stiffened up the ride a little.

Sorry I was trying to word it so it would'nt sound like I was a retard! Both cars are non-P/S cars. im taking the column I want to use out of a 72' /6 car & putting it into a 70' v8 car. I just didnt know if the /6 used a different length steering shaft or something of that nature? Thanks guys!

Mine are originals from direct connection from way back in the day & they are still stiff as they were when they were new. They are for a 3800lb car tho..

Be advised, you will notice a substantial lift in the rear end. Also in ride quality. My duster rides like a 1 ton truck. If you dont want it to look jacked up & clearance is not an issue, i say flip the front hangers. Im in a similar situation with my duster.

The guy I bought my duster had a welding shop fab some up for it about 15yrs. ago. They look similar to the us cartool connectors except they dont contour the floorpans. The cartool ones look like a quality product & I like the fact they contour the floor.
