    IF you Really wanted.. you could buy a engine brace.. it goes from fender to fender and the chain gor down to the motor.. then you can keep the trans out for three years and never worry..

    This is kinda a dumb sort of question but i honestly dont know. If i had a MSD Distributor with the fancy cap and all that jazz, how do you do a tune up? where do you get a cap and rotor? do you need to change them?

    i just steal it from other cars! haha nooo jk.. stealers suck. Napa has a big display bin with all types of hose in it. you should ask what PSI it will handle the douche on the counter should be able to look it up if he doesnt know of hand! tell him its in the UNR book!

    As im rebuiling the lower end of my 360.. i have temptations to change the top to edelbrock.. i know not given the whole set up like pistons and carb and cam and all that other stuff. what do you think a performer rpm intake and heads would help the motor make? vs stock head and intake...

    right now jb on oak is the most exspensive one.. cords in langford is the middle.. the one im leaning towards.. now i have to ask him all the questions.. but i was just offered by a customer that comes in here who does this for a profession.. j&m racing?? jim.. hes in here(napa)...

    What size carb ?

    depends on what you want to do really with this car.. for creditable street strip use i would think a 600cfm would be sufficient but theres guys here that would know exactly what you should use for what your gunna need.. lets hear what they think..

    theres an engine code under the ehxaust manifold on the drive side.. once you get it you will have to decode it.. you can do that here too.. i bet ya its a 318 tho

    74 truck 360 for a 70 dart

    i also have a 360 from a 74 pick up and you will have to change the oil pan.. you also need a V8 k frame unless you already havea V8. its differet from a slant k frame.. as for 200.. i got my motor and 727 tranny for 300 theres other things like ignition and exhaust things that you will...

    make sure you check your timing aswell to make sure its firing on time.. the lovely plastic teeth on the cam gear like to wear out. and if you have been doing burnouts its pussible that it jumped a tooth and you could be out. or your distrib could have be bumped and is out of spec now.
