I have a 66 Barracuda with a 360/727. The rear end is a 8 1/4". The engine may make about 280 HP at the flywheel. Does anyone have an estimate or a good guess at the cost of a new drive line? I'm sure the OE from the /6, 904, 7 1/4" can't be used in any way. Thanks Mike

Studs will help some. If possible, put a bunch of weight in the bed. Right over the axle would be the best. Start with a couple of hundred pounds. Mike

I heard yesterday that there is a difference between 318 and 340/360 Bellhousing bolt patterns. Assure same year and both for A Bodies. What is the skinny? Thanks, Mike

Sorry!! I am missing the bolts that mount the trans to the engine.

The donor 727 trans didn't come with bolts. I can measure for the size and thread count with no trouble. What grade should they be 5 or 8? Thanks for any help. You might feel old when a teenager in baggy pants and a hoodie holds the door for you.
