    1970 duster 340 4spd TIME CAPSULE!

Looks like you could restore it with a big soapy brush and some chrome polish. Even has the old school BFG's on it.

I've got some '76 parts. Let me know if you're looking for something. You don't see many with the Boca Raton interior.

    How old is your project?

I still have both the 2011 and 2012 tags sitting on my desk. The last time I drove it was to my new house in May 2010.

    Rocker's 1973 Duster "Clara"

The orange/black paint scheme looks good. Stick with it. If you get rid of the rubber floor covering, keep me in mind. I've been looking for a decent black one for a while.

    '75 Dart "Hang 10"

Nice save. I'm not much into the 73+ Dodges, but I've always thought the Hang 10 model was pretty cool.

1973 Duster Need Lots Of Help

The torsional resistance of the bar (as its trying to be twisted by the weight of the front end) is what holds up the front end. Its anchored at one end (near the transmission) and trying to be twisted at the other end (by the LCA) as you drive. Sounds good to me anyway.:glasses7:

1973 Duster Need Lots Of Help

No mounts will make it fit. You'll eithier have to switch to the correct K for the bar (down grade) or buy the correct bar (shown below) and just bolt it straight in.

1973 Duster Need Lots Of Help

That sway bar won't fit a 73+ k-member. It looks like one for a 72 & earlier k-member. Different animal.

My dream is finally becoming a reality

I'm not a big fan of stripes, but you're pullin' it off with the black and red. Way cool.

    Frustration

I think most of us are/were in the same boat. Personally, I break down my project into many little jobs and don't start one until I've purchased all the parts to finish. This keeps me from eventually having to look at an undrivable basket case because I ran out of finacial steam.

    72 Duster nearing finish

Good luck keepin' back tires on that beast. Think I'll go buy stock in BFG.

Put me down for the convertible Falcon. I'm not a Ford guy, but those rag-tops are sweet little buckets.

    1970 DUSTER 440 4spd 8 3/4 posi

Man, every time I think it would be too much of a hassle to go big block with my own Duster (which I'd love to do), I'll read this post. With the exception of a few bumps along the way, you made it look pretty easy and made me feel like a lazy bum because I haven't done it yet. If I could...

    1970 DUSTER 440 4spd 8 3/4 posi

Here's some information that's been discussed and verified a bazillion times on Moparts.com. Since I was new to A-bodys, I researched it myself by looking at about 45 Plymouth and Dodge A-bodys in junkyards (both V8 & six) and cross-referencing many part numbers from factory parts catalogs...

    1974 Duster resto started

Boy I thought my '76 was a clean SoCal car but you've got me beat. I wish the paint on the outside my car looked as good as the paint on your floorboards.
