should i have just left them there

And one has cruise control! I had that happen to me at the Mopar Nationals in Indy once. A guy had probably 10 spots and a couple helpers, Saturday the helpers just left and he was on his own. Sunday morning he wasn't selling much and stood up and said "F*ck everyone" and just got in his truck...

    1969 383 GTS Power Steering

I think you would have to carve a hole out of all three brackets to make it work, but it is possible.

Yes, but not necessarily sticking through, just allowing room for the extended nose of the power steering sector..

    1969 383 GTS Power Steering

23-32-17 section in the parts manual. 69 k-frame 2925946 works for both manual and power, I should have been more specific. 68 2883984 without power, 2883999 with power. It was not a full year production for 68 power steering, so more often than not you got a non power k-frame, sorry for the...

    1969 383 GTS Power Steering

The power steering sector will not fit in a manual steering sector k-frame. Here is a picture of both next to each other, the one on the left is a power steering k-frame, you can see how the bracing was changed inside and underneath the motor mount.

    1969 383 GTS Power Steering

Yes on Federal pump, no on oil cooler. I have a 69 GTS 383 4-speed with factory power steering and still have the original set-up and hoses. Also, the k-frame is unique to a power steering car, I just verified it with my original and a couple others I bought at swap meets.

There are two different versions of A-Body 8-3/4 housing too! Both the same length, 66-69 and 70-72 the difference is where the vent is located on the housing. If you don't know which one you have then you may not get the right brake lines when you order them...

I have a cut-down axle I bought off a local guy with the green bearing ends and it is 51.4", someone must have seen the chart listed above. I was wondering if you use the green bearings and no pin in between the axles if the stock axles will still work?

    Casting Numbers

Power steering was new in 1968 for a big block A-body, I have an original box that I just picked up, I can look to see what the casting number is on it and the part number in the parts manual, finding the hose is another issue. I had one made but didn't like the look. It was for my 69 GTS 383...

    67 Dart (Frame Rails/Inner Fenders/Radiator Support) Replacement

Also, it may not be important to you, but the Shipping Order numbers are stamped on the top of the core support rail and are unique to your car and the 68, these are NOT VIN numbers but match the numbers on your fender tag bottom right. If you want to retain the correct numbers then you must...

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

BTW, I wrecked my 69 GTS into a telephone pole in 1979 and had to have the core support and inner fender replaced, the frame rail was bent but usable. Make sure you take it to a frame shop and have them pull the original wrecked parts to spec before anything is cut off. That way you will know if...

67-73 Abody frame Rail and Rad Support

The frame rail is the same 67-76, but the inner fender changed sometime in 1971 that added a big recess for the charcoal canister. The core support uprights changed almost every year also, so it depends on what you want to do with the car, if it doesn't matter what it looks like to you then any...
