72 Duster at 2510# ready to race, 408 N/A and a full cage.

I have run Felpro, copper with o-ring and cometic . My current small block set up is N/A with the same comperssion ratio you will be running and cometic was my choice.

The air cleaner bolt sucked in during dyno run, and did not even bend the valve on its way in. And unrelated to the first fail broken crank.

I bought my 1 7/8" TTIs with the fancy coating for my small block race Duster. If I ever do it again race car would be high temp paint, show or weekend car would be coated.

I have them with Mancini offset shakle kit. Just needed a small amount of triming to the frame. Not sure about relocation kit, hope the bump helps.

I thought stick weld was not allowed by NHRA?

I had a guy roll in on both bulbs before I had time to pre stage. He rolled over and went red. Not a big deal to me, but I know others who would be pissed.

Thanks for the replies. I am not too concerned about tight fit to the body. This one is drag race only. No dash or back seat to worry about. I have talked to both Randy and Lee at S & W a few times and they have been very helpful.

Engine dyno first than test and tune. Its alot easier to change jets and timing on the enging dyno. Engine dyno is also a good place to find any leaks before you have stuff in the way.

Looking to put a motor plate in my Duster with a small block.

12 flat at 116 mph, 3495# race ready. Had a hard time keeping head gaskets from blowing with the n.o.s setup. The six pack manifold is not very efficent when running n.o.s. plate system. Building a 408 now and shooting for about 600 h.p. With out nitrous.

340 six pack, .030 over with high compression pistons, normal stroke, 150 shot n.o.s., A833, 8.75 with 430, lakewood bellhousing, hays clutch, offset leaf springs, slide-a-link traction bars, 26" od 9" wide slick.
