An Aluminum Drum?

I have a Billet Aluminum front drum in my 727 that is done and on the stand. They are about the same price and less rotating mass than the Steel.

Smart man! I kinda figured it might be something weird if the Converter had to be pulled forward to meet the Flex Plate.

I did not see anyone ask if there was fluid in the trans. How much fluid is in it?Deep pan? If so is there a block under the filter to get the screen or filter into the fluid? Not being a smart *** just asking to be sure. With an external cooler and deep pan my 904 will take 3 gallons of fluid.

There is a member on here. BB that had a bunch of spray 800+ to the tires and ran 7260's for years. Never broke one. Them lil U Joints are pretty flipping tough!

An engine is harder to rebuild than a TF transmission. It takes more time to pull it and put it back in then actual rebuild time. This is no joke!

Easier to pull the engine and trans in one whack. Put front tires on the ground and jack up the rear as high as possible and pull both together. Fix your issue, bolt up the trans and drop it back in.... in one whack. Less time on your back and it is easy to fix everything together while both...

A 904 is easily up to your task. My 904 has a 410 Stroker with a 200 hit of NOS in front of it. So I would estimate about 725+hp is running through that trans on the Juice. It has not skipped a beat. I built it myself to the recipe you can find here by searching. Cost me about $500.00 with good...
