Yup,this guy dosen't have a clue. Like Krazykuda said,setting the ride height is the frist step. also caster & camber will be different from factory specs if your runnin' radial tires.

When I changed my bushings the rubber was so bad it just ripped out then I drove a chisel in like you did in four different spots to bend it in.Then it was loose enough that it came out easy. I replaced everything on my front end. It's a ***** of a job but you sure do feel good once it's done...

Snake, Was just going to set it up to stock specs. If it comes down to it that's what I'll do, but I'd like to know where they're getting this measurement from just for the hell of it.

Service manual says to get your "A" measurement from the lowest point of adjusting blade to the floor. I'm unclear where to take this measurement? The picture in the manual isn't that good. It looks like they're going off where the lower control arm piviot bolt is? Any help would be great.

132068Dodge, Just checked out Rockauto.com, all they had was the same nut or kit that the auto part stores had, 3/4X 16 nut, didn't have the 11/16X24 one.

Metallidart, I have 9" drums so the Valiant nuts should be the same.24 is a very fine thread.

Does anyone know where I can get a spindal nut for my 1965 Dart? I've been to NAPA, Auto Zone & Advanced Auto and they all had the same kit which had a nut that was too big!!! :banghead: The thread size on my spindals is 11/16X24. Has anyone else run into this problem? I need to get one. Thanks.

Just did mine yesterday. They were one piece ones that look like the picture TrailBeast sent you. They were poly bushings that I got from Classic Industries. They went in real easy,I put a large socket over the back side of the hole and pressed them in with a large "C" clamp. Popped in like cake!
