I have a 67 Dart with a 8 1/4 rear sure grip. I have a pinion snubber but for the life of me cant find to much info. Im in need of the rubber. Is it the same as a 8 3/4? Im going to need one eventually and when i search all i can find is 8 3/4 rears with them. Thanks in advance.

Don, sorry if the pics arent great. Garage is well under some water and did what i could for you. Do you have a pic of the brkt your using? I have mine dam close to the top for the cable.......Hope these help some, The white coragated stuff is heat protectant stuff i got to protect the cable...

Karl, i have a question. The top rod that meets the braket at tranny, what kind of clip is used. Im sure it just dosent sit there ??????I have a bunch of clips but nothing will work to hold it on to the bracket.

Did your shifter not come with any brakets??? I have the megashifter in mine but you will need the proper brkt

I have this heat cover for it now its like the plastic covering (loom) for automotive wires but its to protect from heat. Ive got a few pieces covering...

I had one Snake but ended up selling along time ago...Money was tight then. I have the B&M mega shifter in my Dart now. Works just fine just a bit of getting used too. I dont think you would have a problem with any B&M shifters. BTW i got mine from Kijiji new never installed for a real good price.

Thanks man,,,,,it does sit high in the back with those shackles. I only have 14s on it all the way around. Springs seem to be fine. Not to much work to take out the shackles and see.

Rob, that was exactly the problem. Got it all fixed up and mobile now......Im tight on money to finish and so happy no major money was needed to fix the tranny

Thanks all. I definitely got to get the front end up some more. I bottomed out going out and in the garage , it does drop down a lot , I have it dug out in front of the garage due to slopped driveway...pooling water. Banging on the rad cradle. Shackles will go for sure.I will see what it looks...
