    F-body Interchange?

My understanding is that everything but the upper A-arms will work for the LBP disk brake swap for the earlier A bodies. Jay

    Bumpers on 74 A-body

Not sure about the bumper itself, but I was looking for a car in '73, wound up buying a '74 model (Challenger! :love4: Wish I'd have kept it!). As far as the bumpettes, in '73 the feds required 5 MPH impact bumpers front and 2.5 MPH rear (IE, supposed to absorb that level of impact without...

If Not an A-bodie Than What Would it be?

Second that! I started out to look for one when I decided to get back into hot rods, saw the prices and wound up with the '68 Cuda! Jay

    Identifying a 360

My bad! Poor phrasing on my part...yes, I meant the cast-in #, not stamped. Went back and looked, it was a 318, not a 360 :-( So, I'll keep looking... Jay

    Identifying a 360

I went to a local Pick-A-Part yard the other day to get a small part for my daughter's car. I wandered the yard for a while looking for other items of possible interest for my Barracuda, but haven't had much luck with Mopar stuff at this yard before. I found an '84 full sized Dodge van with...

    Muscle car definitions?

In the "Strict Definition" at the bottom of the page it says "only...equipped with a large V8", yet they consider the Z-28 Camaro a muscle car. The original Z-28 was a 302 and the later models were 350's. From their list, the basic definition seems to be 'if it came with a badge package'...

I've been thinking about it. I've never been before, is it worthwhile? Jay

    Official Dodge Challenger Survey-From Dodge.com

I was looking for information on 360's this morning for the engine I'm planning on building for my '68 Barracuda and found a link to Allpar regarding a 'new' hemi for the 2008 Challenger... "The just-announced-at-SEMA 6.4 liter version, at a historic 392 cubic inches, due in 2008 with the...

    Official Dodge Challenger Survey-From Dodge.com

I took the survey and went to their website to enter my 'customer comment' saying that I really hope they put their concept into production. I got this back today: Thank you for your email praising the Dodge Challenger concept vehicle. We are pleased to read of your interest in the...

    Official Dodge Challenger Survey-From Dodge.com

Took the survey, told them I'm ready to order! Then went to the Challenger Talk website and registered there and posted that I'm ready to buy in that forum too! It's going to be a serious disappointment if they don't follow through after all of this! Jay

2008 Dodge Challenger Pics (6 New Ones)

Damn... I wanted one when I saw the sketches. Now I REALLY want one! 2008, huh? Maybe if I start saving now, by then I'll have a down payment saved up! Jay

    Restoration vs Modification

:D What he said! As has been said, I respect the work that goes into a resto, but I don't think these cars (or Corvettes or Cobra Jet Mustangs, etc.) were built to sit in a garage and look purdy... They were built to go fast! And as the shop teachers say, you should always use a tool for...

New Hood What do ya'll think??

Must be something in the air... I was thinking along the same lines for my '68 FB, only the Challenger style like the one in my sig picture. Of course, you 'did' and I'm still thinking and planning (and saving!) Looks sweet! :prayer: Jay

what happened to Swingers in 1973?

My experience was with the Challengers, I was looking in '73, wound up buying a '74 model. I think the bumpers for all models (all mfgs for that matter) were that the 5 MPH requirement kicked in for the front in '73, then was extended to the rear in '74. In the E-bodies, the 340 was the HP...

    Modern vs. Old School

Must be a generational thing. The hopped up 4 bangers may be faster, but the flatulent buzz just doesn't have the same effect for me as a nice V8 rumble! Jay

FWIW (since I haven't done it yet!), I took a quick look and if you click on the 'User CP' button on the top menu bar it will take you to another menu. In the left hand menu bar there, is an option to 'Edit Signature'. Click on that and one of the icons gives you the option to add a picture...
