Not to be a downer, but an OD with a 2.93 gear is gonna be a problem once it gets into that 4th gear. You could gear it up a bit more and you would actually see better around town mileage.

Whoops. I should clarify. GM pass cars, 5X 4.75. GM big cars 5X5. All cars have small center register. 5X5 Trucks have the large center bore, either 4x4 or 4x2 wheel drive.

Does the 4.75 bolt circle and the larger register cut down on wheel choices?

Just a queston, and I'm reeeaaallly sorry if I missed this in an earlier post. What's the bolt pattern on your floater? I thought that most were 5X5 with a larger center register. How does that affect your wheel selection? (It kinda looked like a regular pass. car wheel in the mock up pic)...

It sounds similar to what I have on my 69 Valiant. It's a low hanging son of a buck, too. There is a better mounting bracket available from Energy Suspension that mounts it alot better than that single bolt deal.
